Children’s friends are poetizing to them.

On 30th October 2012 the Seventh Communal Declamatory Contest under the slogan “Children’s friends are poetizing to them” took place in Community Centre “Szansa” in Kowala. 19 competitors from elementary schools in Kowala, Bardzice, Mazowszany, Młodocin, Kończyce-Kolonia and from public kindergarten in Kowala took a part in the contest.

Reciters competed in two age categories. They paraded chosen poems of children’s poets. They were judged by jury consisting of: Ms Bożena Nitka, Polish teacher from public grammar school in Parznice, Ms Jolanta Stanik- head of Communal Library in Kowala and Ms Marzena Zawadzka-Hernik- head of Local Social Welfare Centre in Kowala. Presented repertoire was varied and contestants’ performances were very dynamic. Declamations of the young artists awed the audience, make them smile and surprise them.

During deliberation of the judges, guests and contestants watched spectacle prepared by pupils of the Primary School in Parznice. Ms Bożena Nitka, head of jury, congratulated all contestants high level of their performances while announcing the verdict. Jury decided to give some awards and the laureates of both categories were announced.

Category 0-1 grade

1st place: Wiktoria Tęcza- Primary School in Kończyce-Kolonia

2nd place ex aequo: Aleksandra Rogala- Public Kindergarten in Kowala and Małgorzata Bogacz- Primary School in Mazowszany

3rd place: Maja Nogaj- Primary School in Kowala

Awards: Klaudia Malinowska- Primary School in Mazowszany and Sara Stachowicz- Primary School in Kończyce-Kolonie

Category 2-3 grade

1st place: Łucja Nogaj- Primary School in Bardzice

2nd place ex aequo: Natalia Czajka- Primary School in Kończyce-Kolonia and Weronika Wójcicka- Primary School in Mazowszany

3rd place: Julia Szałas- Primary School in Kowala

Awards:  Bartłomiej Wasik and Julia Rogala- Primary School in Młodocin

All competitors of the contest received diplomas, winners and awarded received diplomas and book prizes.
