“Bet on family!”- in primary schools within the commune.

Cycle of the precautionary workshops with 4th grade pupils was carried in communal primary schools as part of campaign “Bet on family!” between 16th October and 27th November 2012. It was chaired by Ms Agnieszka Siczek and Ms Kamila Pszczółka. Subject of the workshops is broadly-taken prevention. In view of practical nature of workshops, pupils was able not only to hear about meaning of family bondings in present world, but they can also exhibit their knowledge in above topic.

Pupils’ statements was characterised by spontaneity and honesty. The whistle was blown on rules existing in families, on rights and duties of children and parents, on what is important in family life and on how important family is. During group exercises children had an opportunity to put themselves on adults’ role and, for example, to realizing some task, having an definite budget at their disposal, which will help them to understand parents’ attitude, who can’t sometimes make children’s dream come true.

Mutual respect, especially on family ground, was emphasised as basis of every interpersonal relation during workshops.

Pupils received flyers under the name “Mum, dad, me and other people” during workshops.
