Second Communal Review of Precautionary Theatres

Theatrical teams from school within Kowala Commune met for the second time on Review of Precautionary Theatres on 28th November 2012. This year’s edition was organised by Maria Konopnicka Primary School from Mazowszany as part of Communal Prophylaxis and Prevention against Alcoholism Program for the years 2011-2013. Watchword of the review was: ‘Bad habits are not for me or how to avoid the danger in order to dreams come true’. Variety of contents, richness of forms and, above all, huge involvement of actors are the main features of this year’s event, where the audience has a possibility of watching five interesting performances, which promoted healthy and safe lifestyle. Little actors prepared performances under their teachers’ guidance. They raised in them such important issues as consequences of using stimulants or violence among peers. They also taught assertive behaviour and ways of coping with hard situations. Whole event was filled up by singing, dancing and stage design, which was made by actors themselves.

To round things off, Ms Łucja Bzdyra, Head of Communal Commission for Solving Alcoholic Problems and Mr Marek Żdżalik, deputy head of the Primary School in Mazowszany spoke out on this year’s review’s summing up, emphasising huge contribution of participants and their guardians in preparing of performances.
