Joy of sharing- summary of the Christmas Food Collection
The Local Social Welfare Centre in Kowala in cooperation with school Caritas Association, working in Primary School in Kowala joined the all-Poland action of food collecting in agreement with Bank Zywnosci in Radom for the next time.
Action was held between 7th and 9th December in shops within Kowala commune, where volunteers collected food for the people in need. Pupils and teachers from Primary School in Młodocin Mniejszy and the Community Office in Kowala joined the action, too. We collected together 179,08 kg of the food, which will be given to the families from our community, which struggle with protective-educational helplessness and have troubles with leading a household. Over seventeen types of groceries were among the given products: cooking oil, sugar, coffee, tea, canned food, chocolate, drinks, cocoa, flour, porridge, pastas.
