Women`s Club celebrated Women`s Day
It was an exceptional day, unique meeting, new experiences and plans for the future. It took place on 8th March at 2.00 p.m. in Community Centre ‘Szansa’.
Madame, you smells like tuberoses
It disposes and it excites.
I like narcosis,
And the most when it is female…
The celebration started with the Julian Tuwim`s poem spoken by invited guests. Women`s Day was a good occasion to invite some women who live in our community and to propose creating Women`s Club. At the beginning, about 20 people had a chance to listen to wordy-musical staging prepared by Volunteers` Club from Youth Education Centre in Wierzbica, under the care of Ms Agnieszka Figarska. Krystyna Stępień, a 1st class student of Vocational School started the ceremony with Urszula`s song ‘Na sen’, and then were verses about love, women, heart`s shaking, longing, declaration and desires.
Everything was happening in the scenery of a coffee house, flowers, music and poetry. Poetry of Tuwim, Gałczyński, Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska….created the unique atmosphere of warmth and unfettered dreams. At the end, students Karolina Balmas and Katarzyna Karch presented their own poems ‘Women about Women’. Ms Joanna Osobińska was the director, Ms Magdalena Orczykowska took care of musical side of the event. Young women made wishes from women to all gathered women, and gave hand-made gifts: beautiful flowers and tasty heart-shaped cookies. Women`s club is for women, who want to develop, inspire themselves, and support in creative and independent creating of their own private, social and professional lives. The main aim of Women`s Club is to support women`s creativity, social, public and professional activation, understood as education, family support, free time organization. To sum up, a healthy and active life. Small plans, dreams and aims can be realized to change them and local community for better by knowing each other, organizing meetings, trips, fairs, workshops and trainings.

dużo motyli mi pokaż, serca motyli przybliż i przytul,
myśli spokojne ponad wodami pochyl miłością.
