Kowala Days 2013
From 16th to August 18th held the Kowala days. Feast is associated with the anniversary of the Battle of the blacksmith during the January uprising. This year the two-day celebrations extended to three days because of the additional attractions, which was a concert by Robert December, which took place on Friday 16 August. Feast this year was celebrated solemnly in particular because of the 150th anniversary of the January Uprising.
With feast organizations were also involved employees of the Local Social Welfare Centre. August 18th (Saturday) supported the organizers during the review patriotic folk songs, which brought together 10 teams of folk representing seven communes in the county. Teams presented three songs, including one patriotic. Then all performed together the song ‘They came lancers ....’ Hearing the songs performed over a hundred singers is a unique experience. At the end of the review, each team received a diploma and a commemorative cup from the hands of the mayor Smith. The singers feel on each note can have fun and enjoy every opportunity, therefore, during the concert of Dariusz Bernatek could already be seen dancing couples and well playing there the audience. The singer enchants the audience a great performance of songs from the seventies, eighties, artists such as Vol. Niemen, K.Klenczon, K.Krawczyk, Stan Borys, Red Guitars. Overview honoured by his performance Zdzislaw Kwapińskiego band, which has a very rich repertoire. They perform songs of Lemko, Ukrainian, Russian, Polish folk songs and songs convivial.
