Kowala –Krajno –Kałków

The Seniors` Club is known that loves to travel. This passion could realize once again. This time the debate, where seniors need to take a trip lasting for hours. Died many ideas, concepts .. finally fell unanimous decision of going to Kalkow. Prevailed argument that it is here is the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Sorrows, and October is the month of the Rosary prayer. The first point of the trip, which also should be mentioned was a trip around the world and it literally. Seniors for the first time be able to see first-hand St. Mark's Square. Peter, the Egyptian Sphinx, and Arc de Triomphe. Impressions come less, were really wonderful. The whole world in one hour? It is possible for our seniors, and only in Miniature Park in Krajno ..

The main purpose of the trip was Kalkow. About 12 o'clock Mass was held, and after that they went to the Way of the Cross. It is the 14 stations built on the existing embankment especially natural gas. 12 station was designed as Golgotha, where are located the chapels commemorating the martyrdom of the Polish nation. Each of the seniors could be in silence and concentration to pray, and autumn and beautiful nature conducive to contemplation. Seniors also wanted to ask for a blessing in such a unique place and met with a very warm welcome from the parish priest.

After so many positive impressions seniors over thirty people in the group went on the road for a delicious dinner in a wooden, charming inn, in order to jointly share the experiences of travel and little relax in good company. Trip was financed in the framework of the Local Support Programme Disabled and Elderly in 2013.
